Commercial Sales Representative
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Some college coursework preferred
Minimum ten years' experience in outside business to business commercial sales
At least five years' experience selling petroleum products
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as a team, with management and customers
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Valid driver's license
Flexibility to respond to new business inquiries/appointments during evening and weekend hours
Job Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments with business clients to present Peninsula's products and services while educating them on Peninsula's Value Proposition and working to establish long term relationships
Responsible for selling Gasoline and diesel fuel within assigned territory
Acquire account confirmations and complete all paperwork needed to finalize the sale
Generate and follow up on your own leads, a minimum of 50% is expected
Provide quality customer service after the sale to assure complete satisfaction, and ask for referrals
Work with Division staff to increase profitable new business and exceed customer expectations
Assist with on-going sales training to increase CSRs', Service Technicians', and Drivers' success in generating leads
Maintain Prospect Tracking Database daily while utilizing all time & lead management features
Attend periodic sales meetings, training seminars, corporate events, trade shows and fairs as requested by management
Establish a plan of action to become well-networked within the community by becoming actively involved in various associations and organizations
Other duties as assigned

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
