Description/Job Summary
RHD Sussex County is seeking an Employment Coordinator. The Employment Coordinator will be a full time employee of RHD and will work with RHD Sussex ICM as well as Horizon House ACT Teams. The ideal candidate will assist the teams bringing employment opportunities to the consumers they serve by establishing relationships with employers in the community. This person must possess good communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and work independently.
Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and oversight for vocational specialists working with the agencies.
Assist the vocational specialist in working with clients, evaluating for job readiness, and provide job seeking guidance
Evaluate employment related activities and procedures against established goals and objectives.
Develop and coordinate opportunities for employment related activities to ensure that employment services are provided and integrated with mental health services.
Serve as the business development and marketing expert.
Establish effective and productive relationships with businesses who may have employment opportunities available.
Provide training and consultation to the teams regarding employment and job readiness.
Assist with fully integrating employment services into the teams.
Serve as the primary liaison with DSAMH and DVR staff, attend monthly meetings with DVR to discuss job development and placement activities.
Interact with individuals in a culturally competent manner.
Will maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA.

Bachelor's Degree preferred and 2 years experience in the fieldEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
