Manager | Technology Leader

Job Description As a Technology Leader, you will be responsible for managing the technical group while ensuring all business standards and service levels are met. You will play a key leadership role in the organization, contributing to the vision, strategy, planning, evaluation, design, development and implementation of applications across clients that incorporate the site's mission and vision. As a member of the Leadership team, you will participate in annual financial review and planning for technology and security infrastructure assessments for the client. As a Leader, you will support the development of process improvements and evolution of the overall Cerner technology vision and strategy as well as manage the delivery of services and technology to clients and ensure that the client and business standards are achieved contributing to the development of the overall solution roadmap. You will also develop and implement operating procedures, and direct the study, design and implementation of new systems and equipment. This also ensuring infrastructure architecture meets standards, maximizes efficiency, and supports platform compatibility as well as identifying cross-functional impacts and areas of potential risk management. You will have direct ownership and accountability in delivering organizational objectives that cascade from corporate and client imperatives. Finally as a Leader, you will also build an effective team and align business strategy with Cerner and site imperatives. You will be responsible for effectively communicating and building relationships across Cerner and client needs and demands effectively while also providing effective situation management and escalation, utilizing good judgement on diagnosis and resolution. You will also assist in managing Human Resource tasks including hiring, performance evaluations, recognition, and disciplinary actions. In addition, you will also recognize and develop career growth and competencies of associates while providing leadership for those involved in development, design, and optimizations of technical information system platforms. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, similar domain, or equivalent industry experience is required 10 or more years of IT industry experience At least 3 years of General Business, health care or other IT related business work experience At least 5 years of technical support work experience Experience managing and accomplishing results through direct reports who have direct reports Preferred Qualifications 7 or more years experience managing multiple technology upgrades, replacements, and implementations Healthcare IT experience In-Depth experience working with Cisco, Microsoft Exchange, VMWare, vSphere, VMware Horizon View, Imprivata SSO, and Cisco VoIP Experience supporting non-Cerner applications infrastructure Expectations Willing to travel up to 20% as needed Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position Perform other responsibilities as assigned Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Seaford, DE area 46019BR

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
